Iran report: If Lebanon attack continues, no negotiations will take place

|
Iranian news agency FARS quoted a 'knowledgeable source' as saying that 'the issue of Lebanon and a ceasefire in the country is a prerequisite and non-negotiable condition for the Islamic Republic to enter into any new negotiation process.' The source added: 'In the context of the ongoing attack on Lebanon, Iran views negotiations as strategically meaningless and useless. All senior officials in the Islamic Republic are unanimous on this issue. If the Lebanese issue is not resolved, no negotiations will take place.'
