Iran's Maher news agency reported that explosions were heard in the Sirik area in southern Iran, near the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, a Fox News correspondent reported on X that the U.S. military carried out an airstrike on "several empty tankers that attempted to break the naval blockade on Iran."
