Coalition members estimate that the chairman of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, MK Yuli Edelstein (Likud), will submit a draft of the conscription law in the coming days, based on principles agreed upon with the ultra-Orthodox. In light of this assessment, reservist organizations that Edelstein spoke with strongly oppose the expected version of the law.
