Yesh Atid chair Gadi Eisenkot responded to Yisrael Beiteinu chair Avigdor Liberman, who said he would "not support any minority government." Speaking at an Israeli Democracy Institute conference, Eisenkot said, "My biggest challenge is to prevent a situation where Bloc A defeats Bloc B. This is a political battle at the end of which every Israeli citizen should feel they were not defeated. What is needed in elections is to see how the Zionist, state-oriented majority of Israel leads the country. My effort will be to ensure that every Israeli citizen sees in me their prime minister, even if they did not vote for me."
