The European Commission did not reach a decision in the discussion on the proposal to suspend Israel's access to part of the EU's Horizon 2020 programs for funding scientific research - considered the world's largest research and development program for scientific and industrial cooperation. Member states are still examining the proposal and requested to express their final position later, based on substantial change in the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
