Police Commissioner Chief Superintendent Danny Levy has completed another round of senior officer appointments. The appointments were finalized against the backdrop of the commissioner's ongoing confrontation with National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir - whose signature the appointments still require. Among the appointments: Deputy Commissioner Ali Wasam, appointed as chief of staff of the Jerusalem District; Deputy Commissioner Rotem Waskar, appointed as commander of the Dan Region in the Tel Aviv District; and Deputy Commissioner Ben Ishai Yaron, appointed as commander of the Northern Region.
