Saar on attacks against Druze: 'What else needs to happen for international community to speak up?'

Itamar Eichner|
Foreign Minister Gideon Saar issued a statement to the media, criticizing the international community against the backdrop of severe attacks against Druze in southern Syria. "We are seeing disturbing images from As-Suwayda of civilians being murdered and humiliated. What else needs to happen for the world to speak up? What are they waiting for?" According to him, "Our interests in Syria are known, limited and clear - first of all to maintain the status quo in the southern Syria region, and to prevent threats against Israel. The second thing is to prevent harm to the Druze community."
