Regev: Working to bring back foreign airlines, will not allow price gouging

|
Transportation Minister Miri Regev responded to the wave of flight cancellations by airlines, stating that the ministry is 'working with airlines and authorities to bring back foreign carriers.' She added regarding the price increases by Israeli airlines that 'we will not allow companies to inflate prices.' The minister also said she instructed to prepare for the possibility that foreign airlines may not resume flights to Israel even after 72 hours, and that 'the ministry plans to renew aviation hubs in Larnaca and Athens for citizens whose flights were cancelled, and from there increase flights to and from Israel.'
