Fire and Rescue Services announced the evacuation of workers from a factory in Or Akiva following a hazardous materials leak. "A copper rod falling into a container with chemical substances created a chemical reaction that caused bubbling and emission of strong vapors on the first floor of the building. The floor was immediately closed, all workers were evacuated from the factory with name registration conducted and initial environmental monitoring was performed, which indicated normal values outside the building," they reported.
