U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Vitek presented the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) initiative to the UN Security Council, designed to restore humanitarian aid to the Strip through a transparent, independent and neutral logistical infrastructure. According to a document obtained by ynet, the new fund 'is based on an innovative operational model that includes establishing four secure distribution centers across Gaza. Each center will serve up to 300,000 people, allowing the fund to initially reach 1.2 million residents – with plans to expand to up to 2 million.'
