Police announced that after more than a year and four months, Daniel Zarug (37) has been arrested in Cyprus on suspicion of murdering Almog Perez, the wife of criminal Shaul Perez. The victim was shot dead in March last year in a luxury residential tower in Ashdod, while her criminal husband was moderately wounded. "The arrest was carried out as part of an operational activity that lasted over a year, led by the Lachish Central Unit," the police said. "An extradition process to Israel is now underway."
