Northern Cyprus mayor: Contact made with 159 passengers from sunken ship

The mayor of Kyrenia, a port city in northern Cyprus, told Turkish CNN that contact has been made with 159 of the 258 passengers who were aboard the ship that sank off the coast of northern Cyprus. According to the Turkish-language newspaper 'Kibris' published in northern Cyprus, the ferry began taking on water about seven kilometers from shore.
