The State Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment with the Central District Court against Petah Tikva resident Adiel Eliahu Michael Cohen (22) for raping a young woman. According to the indictment, Cohen met the complainant a few weeks ago when she went out at night to walk her dog. Cohen began talking to her, asked her questions of a sexual nature, held her hand and hugged her, even after she made it clear she was not interested in physical contact with him. Later, after she refused to meet him, he told her he was a Nova survivor, and out of compassion she agreed to meet him only downstairs from the building. It is alleged that Cohen arrived at her residential floor, entered the apartment against her will, forced oral sex on her and raped her. Cohen has been charged with rape and indecent acts.
