Sick Teachers threaten to escalate protest: Over 2,000 signed resignation letters

|
The protest headquarters of 'Sick Teachers' announced plans to intensify measures against salary cuts if Teachers Union Secretary-General Yafa Ben-David does not meet with them. The headquarters stated that 'currently, 2,100 teachers have signed resignation letters that will take effect on the same day. Similarly, about 50 kindergarten teachers have done the same.' The teachers are demanding, among other things, 'complete cancellation of all cuts, improved salary conditions and full benefits as state employees.'
