The prosecution has filed an indictment with the Jerusalem District Court against Mohammed Shalabi (22), a resident of Beit Hanina in Jerusalem and a pharmacy student, for preparing to commit an act of terror involving murder and receiving training for terrorist purposes. According to the indictment, Shalabi planned to carry out attacks against security forces and Jewish civilians using explosive devices and lethal poisons, with the intent to cause mass casualties. The prosecution is requesting that the court order Shalabi's detention until the conclusion of legal proceedings against him. According to the indictment, he also worked as a pharmacy assistant and underwent a process of ideological radicalization, partly following October 7 and the war.
