Police arrested a mohel from Bnei Brak (66) on suspicion of negligence, following the death of a baby after a circumcision performed by the rabbi. The circumcision took place in early March, and according to the suspicion, a complication in the procedure led to an infection that caused the baby's death about two weeks later. The rabbi is suspected of causing death by negligence of a minor. At the end of his interrogation, he was detained, and tomorrow morning he will be brought to a remand hearing at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court.
