Defense Minister Israel Katz met with Central Command Chief Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth and condemned the arson attacks in the Palestinian village of Jalaoud during his visit to the West Bank. He said, "I see up close the incredible work our forces are doing to thwart Palestinian terror. Against this important security effort, the severity of the actions of a handful of rioters in Benjamin stands out, who attacked security forces and set fire to Palestinian homes and property. With their own hands, they are disrupting efforts against Palestinian terror and diverting forces from their missions. The handful of rioters do not represent the settlers, and those responsible must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."
