David Ben Zion on billboards: 'My family comes first'; Winter: 'Threats and harassment'

|
The Amcha Yisrael party, led by Ofer Winter, responded to the decision of number eight on the list, David Ben Zion, to withdraw amid pressure exerted on him and billboards hung in his West Bank settlement calling on him to resign. "We are saddened by the pressure, threats and harassment directed at the children and family, which they were forced to endure by elements who simply are not willing to let new and clean forces enter Israeli politics. Not everyone can withstand the illegitimate and contemptible pressure that was placed on you and your family," the party stated. Ben Zion wrote in the party's group: "Friends, I love you, family and my wife come before everything."
