Another faction within the Druze community, known as "People of Honor," expressed opposition to the emerging ceasefire agreement, which would allow some regime forces to remain in As-Suwayda. "Any agreement that does not include the withdrawal of all invading forces from southern Syria, who committed unprecedented atrocities in the history of As-Suwayda province and brutal massacres constituting war crimes against our people, will be unacceptable," they stated. The movement added: "We will continue to defend ourselves if there is no withdrawal from all villages and towns."
