The IDF Spokesperson permitted publication that Sergeant Niv Dayag, 19, from Ramat Hasharon, a combat soldier in the 890th Battalion of the Paratroopers Brigade, was killed in a vehicle accident during operational activity in the Golan Heights. Two soldiers from Battalion 890 and one soldier from the 'Golan' Formation (474) headquarters were lightly injured in the incident. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
