Three soldiers from Battalion 82 will be sent to military prison for 10-20 days after refusing to enter the Gaza Strip as part of an operational mission. The IDF reported that the soldiers maintained their refusal even when told they could retract their decision and avoid disciplinary action. The IDF Spokesperson stated, "The soldiers' commanders continue to support them even after the completion of the disciplinary process. The IDF will continue to maintain the values of discipline and responsibility required from all its soldiers and fighters in particular."
