Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani evaded a question in a CNN interview about the fate of Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya following the Israeli strike in Doha, saying that "so far there is no official declaration." According to him, several Qatari officers injured in the Israeli strike in Doha are hospitalized in critical condition and a 22-year-old security officer was killed. He added: "We are trying to identify if there are more missing people. There are Qataris in a very dangerous condition. The entire Gulf region is in danger. There will be a response that is being considered with partners in the region."
