The Hostages and Missing Families Forum responded to the Prime Minister's Office statement, which stated that "Israel agrees to the proposal based on the Witkoff outline but Hamas persists in its refusal," saying that 'no spin can hide the simple truth - Israel's government has no real plan to bring back the last hostage."
The forum also said that "the majority of the people support bringing back all hostages, even at the cost of halting the fighting. Only returning all of them in one phase will enable a process of rehabilitation and recovery for the state and army."
