The IDF spokesperson announced that three new "Adir" (F-35i) fighter jets landed at Nevatim base in southern Israel. The aircraft, manufactured by Lockheed Martin, will be integrated into the "Lions of the South" (Squadron 116) and the "Golden Eagle" (Squadron 140). The Israeli Air Force emblem was stamped on the aircraft. The landing of these jets in Israel, and the IDF spokesperson's announcement about it, come against the backdrop of security tensions surrounding a possible U.S. strike on Iran.
