The IDF and Mossad announced that the body of Sgt. Zvi Feldman, who fell in the Battle of Sultan Yacoub during the First Lebanon War 43 years ago, was located in the heart of Syria during a special operation and returned to Israel. The body was identified at the Military Rabbinate's Genomic Center for Identifying Fallen Soldiers, and Feldman's family was notified by the IDF in the presence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The family of missing soldier Sgt. Yehuda Katz was also updated about Feldman's return, along with the ongoing efforts to locate their loved one.
