Itzik Bonzel, a Likud armored corps member, apologized for writing to hostage survivor Yocheved Lifshitz that "I wish it were possible to send you back to Hamas." On his Facebook account, he wrote: "As a bereaved father who lost his son in the war to bring back the hostages, it pained me to see the harsh words that disparaged our soldiers, but in the heat of emotion I wrote a sentence about Yocheved Lifshitz in the context of Hamas that I did not mean and I ask to apologize for it."
