Eisenkot at Hostages Square: 'Everyone must return in one deal, the entire nation supports this'

Hagar Kochavi|
Former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot, who announced his resignation from the Knesset this week, arrived this evening at Hostages Square. In a conversation with ynet, alongside Anat Angrest, mother of kidnapped soldier Matan Angrest, he said about the current framework for a deal: "I hope the meeting that will convene will be attentive to the cry that was raised here to make a comprehensive deal." According to him, "The meaning is that on the first day they immediately start talking about completing the entire deal, so that within 60 days all hostages will return. This is being done belatedly, the principles are the same principles and a basic decision is required here. This is not a brave decision, most of the nation supports it."
