Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett addressed the issuance of emergency call-up orders for reservists ahead of expanded combat operations at the Israel Technology Conference, stating: 'While about 70% of Israel belongs to those who serve, the leadership of Israel is overwhelmingly comprised of draft evaders.' According to him, 'Five out of six coalition party leaders evaded military service entirely or meaningful military service.' Bennett added: 'The current state leaders are working day and night to transfer billions to maintain this draft evasion. A nation where the majority serves is led by leadership pushing for draft evasion.'
