Bipeen Joshi, a Nepalese citizen who was in Israel on October 7, was kidnapped by Hamas and murdered in captivity, was laid to rest yesterday in a Hindu cremation ceremony in his childhood province of Kanchanpur. Hundreds of people accompanied him on his final journey. His family said they "deeply appreciate the support received from many people in Israel, Nepal and around the world. People who never met Bipeen, but felt connected to his soul and spirit. May we remember him forever."
