The death has been confirmed of an infant who was born yesterday in critical condition during a home water birth in the community of Alichin near Hadera. The baby underwent resuscitation by MDA teams who were called to the scene and was transferred to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in the city. The condition of the mother, who was also evacuated, is defined as mild and stable.
