The toddler was admitted to an isolation room in the hospital's pediatric ward about two days ago after his condition deteriorated. He was listed in serious but stable condition, and after intensive treatment began showing gradual improvement. The child was not vaccinated and the source of infection was likely a community clinic he visited about a week ago.
