Severe warning against scam at Ben Gurion Airport: 'May cause heavy damages to passengers'

|
The Israel Airports Authority announced it will intensify measures against companies offering valet parking services at Ben Gurion Airport. "There is no such service at the airport, and anyone offering it is operating illegally," the authority stated. According to the announcement, "The Public Complaints Department at Ben Gurion Airport has recently received numerous reports from passengers who used these services and upon returning from abroad discovered that their vehicles had been driven hundreds or even thousands of kilometers while they were on vacation. Others received damaged vehicles, and sometimes also traffic tickets, fines for illegal parking and speeding tickets."
