Attorney General: Netanyahu Must Refrain from Actions Related to Next Shin Bet Chief Appointment

Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara addressed the Supreme Court ruling, which determined that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu acted with a conflict of interest when dismissing Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar. She stated that Netanyahu must therefore 'refrain from any action related to appointing a new Shin Bet chief until legal guidelines ensuring proper procedure are formulated. The guidelines will be formulated in the coming days.'
