LAPD: Not informed of Marines' arrival, may create operational difficulties

The Los Angeles Police Department announced it was not officially notified about the arrival of Marine forces to the city, adding that such a move "could create logistical and operational difficulties." Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump decided to send approximately 700 Marines to Los Angeles to suppress riots that broke out in protest of illegal immigrant deportations.
