Two Palestinian sources close to the discussions in Doha told the French news agency AFP that "negotiations encountered complex obstacles following the plan presented by Israel for withdrawal from the Gaza Strip." One source said that "Israel insists on the map it presented, which is actually just a redeployment of forces in more than 40% of the Gaza Strip." Additionally, the second source emphasized that "despite this, progress has been made on the issues of humanitarian aid and the exchange of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners."
