The IDF is launching an internal military operation to return combat gear and equipment, in which some 65 collection points will open at bases across the country. The IDF Spokesperson announced this, noting that the operation will take place between November 1-21, during which combat gear and military equipment taken from the IDF by soldiers on regular or reserve duty during their service can be returned, without the need to identify oneself and without facing prosecution for their unauthorized removal, possession or carrying. During the operation, it will be possible to return weapons, night vision devices, communication equipment, uniforms and any other military equipment.
