Israel and Bolivia Restore Diplomatic Relations: 'Ambassadors to be Appointed Soon'

Israel and Bolivia have restored diplomatic relations between the countries. Foreign Minister Gideon Saar and Bolivian Foreign Minister Fernando Huanacuni Mamani signed an agreement to restore relations in Washington, at an event also attended by Bolivia's Finance and Economy Minister José Gabriel Espinoza. "The countries aspire to restore full diplomatic relations, friendship and cooperation between them," the agreement states, noting that ambassadors will be appointed soon.
