Thousands participated in the Kiryat Bialik march, traditionally held for 42 years, which this year focused on calling for the freedom of city resident Matan Angrest. Anat Angrest, mother of Matan who has been held captive in Gaza for 596 days, attended the event and spoke: 'This was an emotional morning. Seeing thousands of marchers who came to show solidarity and demand his release is strengthening and gives hope. Your support gives us strength to continue working for his return. We never stop praying that he will march here with us soon.'
