MK Gilad Kariv (Democrats) criticized Defense Minister Israel Katz's decision to disqualify the appointment of Col. (res.) German Gitelman due to his activity in "Brothers in Arms." Kariv called the move "a political purge" and added: "Katz was a cabinet member in all the months before October 7. If someone needs to pay a price, it's him and his colleagues in the government of crime and neglect. I call on IDF Chief of Staff Zamir and General Staff members to stand firm against improper and illegal actions."
