The chairwoman of the Secondary School Principals Association, Iris Doron, noted in a letter to the director of the Matriculation Examination Department at the Education Ministry, David Gal, that students are not sleeping at night due to sirens, which severely impairs their ability to learn, concentrate and prepare for exams that have meanwhile been postponed to unknown dates.
