|
A 16-year-old girl was brutally attacked yesterday by a group of other girls on a bus in Beit Shemesh – after she placed her bag on an empty seat on the bus. Following the attack, the girl was injured on her head and bled. Topaz, the mother of the girl who was attacked, told Ynet that the girls wanted to sit on the seat where the bag was placed and attacked her daughter. According to her: "My daughter's bag was on the seat next to her. That still wasn't enough to bother them – my daughter was just about to move the bag, and the woman who attacked her started speaking to her disrespectfully." Afterward, additional girls joined the attack and according to the mother: "What was done to my daughter on the bus was a lynching, nothing less."
