National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir responded to a letter sent to him by Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara, in which she wrote that there is no reason not to promote Chief Inspector Rinat Saban - and that there is concern that this is due to her testimony in the Prime Minister's cases. According to Ben Gvir, "On the eve of her dismissal from office, the government's 'legal tailor' continues to grossly interfere with the elected officials' authority, while undermining the law and democracy. I will make the decision after I am presented with the full data I requested. I will not accept any attempts at external interference."
