Report: Trump demands $1 billion from countries for permanent seats on peace council

|
US President Donald Trump is demanding that any country interested in becoming a permanent member of the peace council contribute at least $1 billion, Bloomberg reported. "Each member state will serve on the council for no more than three years from the moment of signing, subject to the chairman's approval," stated a draft document regarding the establishment of the council, obtained by Bloomberg. The document further notes: "The three-year membership period will not apply to countries that contribute more than $1 billion in cash to the peace council in the first year after the agreement comes into effect."
