The IDF eliminated terrorists who posed an immediate threat to forces in the Gaza Strip. An IDF spokesperson stated that in the southern Strip, the military eliminated terrorist Ahmed Abu Mughaisib, head of a rocket-firing cell in Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The terrorist worked to advance terror operations against Israel and took part in advancing smuggling attempts into the Gaza Strip. In addition, IDF forces overnight struck several Hamas terrorists in the central Gaza Strip who were advancing terror operations and posed an immediate threat to our forces. One terrorist was eliminated and strikes on additional terrorists were identified.
