Indictment: Three Negev residents smuggled drugs to Gaza using drone

|
The State Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment at the Be'er Sheva District Court against three residents of Bir Hadaj in the Negev: Mohammed Sarkhin (29) and cousins Sharif (26) and Yunis (38) Abu Gardud, for providing means to carry out acts of terrorism after smuggling drugs into Gaza. The prosecution charges them with export and possession of dangerous drugs, obstruction of justice and other offenses. The request for their detention until the end of proceedings states: 'The defendants were involved in exporting dangerous drugs via drone to the Gaza Strip during wartime, while being aware that Hamas controls the area and could potentially use drones for terrorist activities.'
