The death toll from flash floods in Texas a week and a half ago has risen to 131, as authorities warned of another system of heavy rainfall. Rescue teams and residents are still scanning the Guadalupe River area in Kerr County searching for those missing, who have been asked to move to higher ground until the risk of another flood passes. Texas Governor Greg Abbott said that 97 people are still classified as missing, down from the initial figure of more than 160.
