The High Court of Justice has banned the use of the Elektor app, which enables parties to receive real-time reports during elections on citizens who are not voting, following petitions filed on the matter. This is a reversal of the Central Elections Committee's decision, which approved the use of the app earlier this month. Justice Yael Vilner justified the decision by stating that the use of the app constitutes an "infringement on the right to privacy," and that "the Central Elections Committee is not authorized to permit party representatives at polling stations to act in accordance with the practice in question."
