Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara sent a letter to government members regarding the discussion of her dismissal, hours before it took place, and wrote that "the government is illegally firing the Prosecutor General in the Prime Minister's trial." According to her, "the claims raised by the Justice Minister indicate that he is looking for a legal adviser who will obey the government and approve law violations for it such as avoiding the draft of yeshiva students, political interference in police investigations and more."
