Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke with reporters about the possibility of a ceasefire with Russia, saying that his conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump at the Pope's funeral in Vatican was 'perhaps the best between us.' According to him, both agreed that a 30-day ceasefire would be the correct first step, and he raised the issue of air defense systems, to which Trump responded that he 'would work on it.' Zelenskyy added that 'Trump sees things somewhat differently since the Vatican conversation,' and that he is not interested in 'playing' with Putin's proposals for short ceasefires.
