The Knesset's legal adviser, attorney Sagit Afik, sent a letter to the legal adviser of the National Security Ministry, claiming that the ministry has been avoiding answering questions or providing data to the Knesset's Research and Information Center. The request comes after a significant delay in responding to requests for data on police cases opened for domestic violence offenses for a discussion held on the Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women last month. As revealed by ynet, the ministry significantly delayed providing the information and ultimately delivered only partial data.
